6 N’s 2024

Could go either way (unlike the other two matches)

A couple of very spirited performances by Scotland and Italy. The reason I don’t include Ireland is because that’s what we already naturally expect from them now. What a result for Italy, and what a shame about that penalty! That’ll certainly go down history!

Even though I’m Scottish that was a great game and the right result.

Anyone else finding the commentary on ITV England games irritating?

England have found they have a back line to form an attack, at last :grinning:

Well done England, best I’ve seen them play depuis the World cup!
Finally in this 6N’s they used the backs…
Still think Ireland :ireland: are the best team in the world, for the moment.

Well played England, cracking game and such an exciting finish.

Sorry, it’s just a step too far to congratulate England

2 really good really good games today!
:it: v :scotland: and then :england: v 🇮🇪. I dont bet, but could have won a few euros if I did…
The 6 N’s, best rugby test matches in the World.
This time last year…
France, one of the best teams, now suffering.
Ireland, one of the best teams in the World, not suffering apart from the loss to England today.
Scotland, had a very hard poule in the WC. Now game plan management easy reading tactically, take out Finn R, but one of the best teams in open play, Italy too.
England, building from just before the WC, and not doing too badly.
:wales: Gat’s building from scratch for the next WC, with young boybachs, give it a couple of years and they’ll be contenders and maybe 6 N’s champions.

Well played England. Hard fought game but a well deserved victory. Unlucky Ireland to not do the consecutive Grand Slam.

I didn’t catch the Italy game as we were out. Might try to watch it on catch-up. Here’s hoping Wales can also cause an upset tomorrow

Allez les bleus

Why not watch on France 2 ? Two pairs of commentators…
For a big game the team is the excellent Matthew Lartot and Dmitri Yashvili,.
When there are two games on the same day the backup commentators are Jean Abeilhou et Yann Delaigue. Abeilhou is definitely annoying !

I prefer English commentary except now on ITV, I find French commentary a bit simplest.
As regards the commentary on ITV, I think it’s for blind people, but what it’s doing on television I don’t know. I can see the colour of the head caps, hair, socks and boots also if someone is lining up a kick at goal and he’s moved a bit to the left/right.
Sadly only one game on BBC next week I’ll take your advice and watch the other 2 on TF1 ou France 2-3?
