I’ve not been there for 40 years, but Cap d’Agde was quite an interesting place to go🙂.
I did, and a few other funny rubbery things😉
To be fair though naturism isn’t really “adult fun”, most of the time it’s just preferring to have no clothes on on the beach.
Entirely agree, we have stumbled onto naturism beaches/nature areas many times in trying to find somewhere isolated for our dog to run without being distracted by picnics. They are generally extremely staid. However on one beach (in the Landes I think it was) the woods behind them were another matter.
Coincidentally we ended up walking with a neighbour last week who went into immense details about who had slept with whom in the village. Which took us slightly by surprise as the people involved do not have the air of lotharios or femmes fatale.
That’s very true for most people. I’ve been on naturist beaches and have ‘skinny dipped’ with friends many times since being a child. For some though, it’s purely about exhibitionism. Just go to cap d’Agde naturist beach and you’ll see what I mean.
Marigolds??
A few years ago, a maladie swept through our commune and struck mostly men in their 40’s. Four, I was aquainted with well suddenly upped and left their wives and took up with other women in the same vicinity of the next village, leaving a wake of destruction behind them regarding children, divorces and forced property sales etc. Everyone knew about it except me as I don’t do gossip with locals and my neighbour took great delight in relating all this. None of the men are what I would call fanciable either!
Yes quite, that’s why I said most of the time
Wow,thanks for your advice,i got a new pair of glasses and went shopping in my local town today, came across a sex shop,a strip club,a lap dancing bar,a topless bar,an adult cinema and a brothel, all in the town centre, you won,t believe this but i then stumbled across a dogging site in the local car park on the way home,i always wondered why all the locals were always smiling, joking aside,i know there are seasonal nudist beaches, but i think the original poster was looking for something a bit more exciting,a bit like you would find in the rest of Europe.
