We have but just in the evenings and probably not 100% nessesary tbh, ore comfort and humidity banishing!
There’s a lot less rain down here, but because we’re right next to a big river the humidity, though not oppressive can cause lots of mould in Spring and Autumn. The dehumidifier setting on the heat pumps is better than AC for keeping things bearable in summer, but it doesn’t wholly prevent the mould on our leather sofas.
OTOH, despite the back of the house having been built into the bottom of a cliff with the technical understandings of six hundred years ago, we don’t get any damp in the rear walls
President-elect Trump has named oil industry executive Chris Wright as his Secretary of Energy.
Wright is the founder and CEO of Liberty Energy, an oilfield services firm based in Denver.
He is expected to support Trump’s plan to maximise production of oil and gas and to seek ways to boost generation of electricity, demand for which is rising for the first time in decades.
He is also likely to share Trump’s opposition to global cooperation on fighting climate change.
Wright has called climate change activists alarmist and has likened efforts by Democrats to combat global warming to Soviet-style communism.
“There is no climate crisis, and we’re not in the midst of an energy transition, either,” Wright said in a video posted to his LinkedIn profile last year.
Wright, who does not have any political experience, has written extensively on the need for more fossil fuel production to lift people out of poverty.
A nail in the coffin for the world.
Words fail me.
We lit ours yesterday. Lovely.
This is horrible. The new Mexican president sounds lovely…
That’s not one of Andrew Tate’s motors is it?
Hopefully, & with the doors welded shut, & the seat belts jammed.
