Innocent people rarely skip bail and go into hiding, you also fail to mention that witness have said he was driving the boat at the time of the crash, Also evidenced in court were the following "the boat’s lifejackets had been tucked away, the kill cord was not connected and the boat had a number of defects including faulty steering. The prosecutor, Aftab Jafferjee QC, told the court it was “sheer madness” to take the boat out that night… but who cares about facts eh.
I thought this might help in advancing the cause of member mugshots. It’s very contemporaneous and shows me in my just-got-up-and-ready-for-the day-ahead mode.
Friendly, switched-on, mellow and very SFN, I would say. More to follow…
I have previously given you other glimpses of the man-in-the-acrylic-scarf, man-with-the-bottle-brushes-and-brewer’s-apron… , I think I’ve had more “exposure” than any other SFN type…
, all in the spirit of togetherness, authenticity and full-blooded narcissism I reckon
Too late, too late, Stella… I feel a heady rush of vernal (that’s an adjective qualifying spring, the season of lambs, daffodils etc. nothing to do with STDs) exhibitionistic gaiety coming on…
I recently saw this and thought of you Peter - However l don’t see why it is called a ‘disorder’ more like a personality trait and not Narcissistic as you describe yourself.
A mnemonic that can be used to remember the characteristics of histrionic personality disorder is shortened as “PRAISE ME”:[9][10]
P rovocative (or seductive) behavior
R elationships are considered more intimate than they actually are
A ttention-seeking
I nfluenced easily by others or circumstances
S peech (style) wants to impress; lacks detail
E motional lability; shallowness
M ake-up; physical appearance is used to draw attention to self
I’m no legal expert; I’ve not read the trial transcripts; I base my comments on news reports:-
He was drunk in charge of a vessel (at night, I believe)
He exceeded the speed limit for the area in which he chose to operate
He allowed a novice to take control of the vessel
The vessel was not in a fit state to be used
In my opinion, manslaughter is a let-off. Had that vessel been an un-roadworthy car, under the charge of a drunken person who exceeded the speed limit AND allowed an unqualified driver to take control what would the charge have been?
@Dan_Wood: “I saw this and thought of you, Peter… histrionic personality disorder”
You got me bang to rights, Dan, wouldn’t you say?
You could set up a lucrative niche on-line therapy practice, although it is a bit of a crowded scene these days. But you’ve certainly got the professional “screw-squeeze-yank” approach an individual would want in his advisor!
Hi Stella - Thank you for yet another reminder - I suddenly realised that almost each time l post you kindly remind me of why SF uses photos. However, and don’t take this the wrong way, l did a little research and note that some of the following members you have exchaged posts with recently do not have photos but you NEVER seem to remind them. I hope you will understand why l feel like you have singled me out for some reason. Here is a list (Not definitive) of the sinners who have not been asked to post a photograph:
Jane Jones
Helen Wright
Warren Joiner
Paul Flinders
Timothy Cole
Anna Watson
Nigel Roberts
Mark Haywood
Dermot Doyle
