Masks - Migrated

Wasn’t there a suggestion somewhere that it can cause problems with the brain and comprehension? It’s certainly suggested that Doris seems to have that issue and I can think of someone else on this forum who associates himself with Doris’ maladies having “had” Covid-19. Everyone else seems to display sensible attitudes towards their vulnerability…

"Survivors can suffer damage to almost every major organ "

In that case, can we be told by someone who knows about these things (no names no pack-drill ) which organs are minor, and which of the major ones are deemed untouchable by the virus (maybe they are not kosher). I won’t worry about the ring-fenced ones then. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I don’t think that there is much risk to skin, apart from that…

My friend is a stroke specialist nurse and they are anticipating a rise in numbers of patients as clotting appears to be an issue

My nails took a beating during my “Covid-type” illness and have not recovered. I don’t think this is dietary or fungal. Not pretty.

Just in on France 24:

If needed why not now?

Maybe because that’s when the annual migration south begins?

This amused me from a Katy Balls article in this morning’s Guardian…

There are unionist Tories who view the move as a win for Nicola Sturgeon. It’s not so much the pros or cons of a mask that bothers them – it’s the fact this is one of only a handful of times the UK government has followed Holyrood. At a time when support for Scottish independence is on the rise and ministers are increasingly nervous, there’s a worry this indirectly implies that Sturgeon is the more competent leader.

Can it really just be dawning on some Tories that Sturgeon looks more competent than Johnson?

It will certainly mean I’ll limit my trips to shops etc, hate the bloody things!

So do we all Tim. As discussed elsewhere, would a clear visor be an option for you? I’ve seen increasing numbers around. Also, there are different shapes of masks, we have good ones that have space in front of the nose and mouth, so not so claustrophobic. Mind you, if it means you don’t go shopping, isn’t that a good thing?

Wish my missus hated them that much😣

You should thank her for it!
I hate shopping, unfortunately if I don’t do it everyone will go hungry, unwashed, unbumwiped, unteethbrushed etc etc… so I have looroll etc buying down to twice a year and stock the stuff in my buanderie or bathrooms whichever is more appropriate. I food-shop every day for fresh things, on my way back from work usually.

I am beginning to hate shops.
They seem to be full of things that -
I don’t need
I don’t want
I don’t recognise
I don’t understand what they could be useful for
I am not prepared to buy on ethical grounds.
I couldn’t afford even if I wanted them.
