I’m thinking of going for a new Buggatti Stella. The economy version.
I have 2CV envy. Once we’ve found a house it’s top of the shopping list!
Has to be a Light 15, not sure if they made a convertible, but seem to think they did, anyway Light 15 with a tarted up body and later engine/gbox/brakes has to the bizz.
One of my neighbours restores historics - he’d a convertible, two seat with dickie seat, for sale about 2 years ago. The 40k price put me off
A year ago I bought a Saab 96V4 with the intention of doing regularity and endurance rallies in France/Europe.
A week later I’d to hand it back to the seller because I’d discovered it was the wrongspecification for what I wanted. Poor research!! But since I had been at the head of an 11 strong Q of eager purchasers the seller was happy to take it back.
Ever since then I’ve been looking for the right car.
Spotted it, a Volvo PV, and went back to the UK almost 2 weeks ago for a test drive.
We come out of quarantine (very boring) on Wednesday coming and had arranged to see the car the next day.
Then Boris puts England in lockdown …
With France in lockdown too we may stay here in the hope that December brings an easing of restrictions in both countries
Gorgeous person vagn
Any race history on it ?
It’s just 4 years old, built from 3 PV’s imported from the USA/Canada and been used on UK historic regularity events
