Best grass seed for ornamental lawn and availability

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips for choosing the best grass seed for an ornamental lawn of 400m2.

I was advised against Rye grass as it's clumpy and harsh so what other types are there and where can I buy them?

I have a very sandy acid soil with silice and granite which will eventually be irrigated from a well. Chives grow all over the place naturally and it's semi-shaded.

Hi,

We bought some "Gazon Super Rustique" from LeClerc Brico & they had quite a good choice. Yet to use it yet because it is cold, wet & 'orrible interspersed with bright sunshine!
