I loved watching these two :blue_heart:

Unrelated but my husband saw a very fat loir making its way towards our house today. Apparently it walked like the rats in this video

Stop it Lily, you are just stoking my guilt about killing my rat night marauder, who turned out to be a very efficient kitchen maid. I assumed he/she was the start of a massive dynasty that would overrun us but now he is gone there is not a sign of others and my worktop is covered with crumbs every morning, just how I left it, instead of pristine cleanliness.

I had pet rats when I was a kid, very cuddly and sweet.

He probably got himself an eye when his radar stopped working, but I am really impressed with the way he can apparently switch it from one side of his head to the other. :joy:

Well spotted!

According to wiki this bat belongs to the one family of bats that lacks echolocation.

I wonder what happened, in this family of bats, that changed them from carnivores to vegetarians.

Fruit is easier to catch

Indeed it is, I eat hardly any flying insects these days.
