I’d like to install a ladder at the deep end of an inground saltwater pool. There’s a wide variety of choice and price. Any recommendations please?
The French/EU spec is for a double width tread for safety reasons but you’ll see lots with only a single tread. Being a salt water pool you would often get corrosion on the weld points. Adding a zinc sacraficial annode to the ladder can help reduce damage.
I don’t know if it would suit but I bought a rope ladder with wooden rungs for my swimming pond originally in order to scramble out. Only problem was the lower rungs would float on the water so I had to shorten it. I use a different method now, an old cargo strap, very strong, attache to a tree but have recently repositioned the rope one to give the dog a grip on a sloping part of the bank if she decides to swim with me.
I expect I got it from Amazon.fr.
Thank you for the tip on the annode. I understand I should also opt for stainless steel AISI 316.
In my younger days I might have tried this
Yes much better corrosion resistance than 304.
