This gorgeous lamp is made from recycled plastic
"Le recykleur" , as he calls himself, transforms everything from plastic bags and bottles to garden furniture into lamps, vases and flower pots while his wife makes jewellery from recycled coffee capsules (à la George Clooney).
We prefer plain white but there is a huge range of colours. He told me at the weekend that he used to paint the objects which meant the paint could chip. But he has now found a way of including the colours in the plastic so they are permanent.
They're virtually unbreakable and easy to clean. Just wash them in a bowl of water with washing up liquid. After unplugging them of course.....
If you can't come to Lozère to see for yourself, everything seems to be available on his web site.
