Leasing a car with a tow bar

We previously started a thread concerning our current BMW car and the fact that we were now considering leasing a car whilst there is more than 18 months remaining on the CT.
We didn’t have any replies to our last posting : Hiring a car so we’ve started this new thread. We’re sure there’s someone on the forum who can help us or guide us through the process.
Whilst our own car was in the garage for repair, we hired a Renault Captur from our local HyperU for 3 weeks. We enjoyed driving it and considered long term leasing of a similar vehicle. Unfortunately, when we returned the Captur today, they said they do not have that model currently available and the next model up would be too expensive for us. We are willing to pay between 250 and 300 euros per month with a lease period of anywhere between 2-4 years. We are pensioners and would not be doing more than 1000km per month. Before it was found that they could not help with the leasing, we did ask if we could fit a tow bar (at our expense) and the answer was a definite ‘NO’.
Our question therefore is: does anyone know of a lease company that allows you to have a tow bar fitted.

I don’t know the name of the company but my neighbour has leased a series of cars, all of which have towbars. He uses his car for his work which involves a vast amount of driving around France & Belgium, & his company leases several vehicles. What I do know is that they are in 44 somewhere. I’ll ask him at some point.

Thank you Badger. That’ll be a good starting point.

@Rachel05
Is there not a difference to leasing a car from an enterprise such as HyperU (intended as short term leases) and a leasing contract with (say) a Renault garage?
I can’t now remember her name but there was a user on SF who worked for a Renault dealership who would know the answer to this conundrum.
I’ll see if I can find her from my mails and tag her if I do…
EDIT: her nic was Deedee IIRC but seems to have changed as no loger listed as such… I think her nic now may be @DeTolkTW

Natixis Car Lease does, but maybe that’s only for business leasing - I asked for one to be included on the vehicle and have it covered in my lease contract. It is a removable one, so that I don’t have to drive with it on permanently.
