Since visiting Leclerc last week I noticed today that eggs have gone up by 5 centimes - Creme Fraiche by 5 centimes and milk by 5 centimes - I plan to go tomorrow to check on all the items I usually buy there. Anyone else noticed small price increases? - is this what deflation does - I thought it would be the opposite!!
I have also noticed that Leclerc, Carrefour and so on's prices vary from store to store. They also go up and back down, kind of a price yo-yo. Is it some kind of psychological means of making us think they are now cheaper next week when they revert to last week's price?
