One doesn’t need to find a “starred” restaurant to eat well in France… but I do know a few of these on the map (at the end of the article) and we did eat very well there…

Unfortunately we went to lunch in our favourite restaurant as part of our Golden Wedding celebration only to find that it had totally changed and now seems to be the canteen for a residential place giving seminars to all and sundry.
It was the worst meal I have eaten in a long time.
We seem to be losing our local restaurants, one in Trivy has gone broke, not surprisingly and the other concentrates more on its cabaret clientele.
