Places to visit near Schwäbisch Hall?

I’m planning to visit Schwäbisch Hall early next year, for a week, maybe 10 days.

Are there any other places, within a 1 or 2 hour drive (something I can do in a day, with plenty of time for sightseeing), worth visiting?

I’m thinking three or four places.

Ludwigsburg is lovely. Big baroque palace with grounds. And the little town itself is very pleasant. If you can wait a few weeks, the Christmas market will be getting under way.

Heilbronn, and surrounding vineyards?
Burg Maienfels ?
Schloss Waldenburg ?
I’ve not been to any of these monuments, just the wine tasting in and around Heilbronn, clearly that says something about me…
