Roof Cleaning Treatment

I’m interested to hear whether anyone has any experience of Algimouss Pro Algimouss Treatement. The container says that the treatment should never be washed off after applying it. The Algimouss website says the same thing. But I have been told by a roofer that if it is not jet washed off it will cause delamination of the roof tiles which will then crumble. They said that they have seen a lot of roofs that have suffered this problem. They weren’t touting for business as they refuse to wash roofs that have had a treatment applied - they do not want the responsibility.

I’ve tried a Google search and have found nothing to suggest concerns about Algimouss.

Forgetting trade names for a minute, whats actually in its chemical makeup as that is likely to yeild better results. The MSDS is best place to look usually.
Most antimouss formulations I have seen are the same formulations. alkyldimethyl­benzylammonium chloride part of the quaternary ammonium chems used as anti algae in swimmings pools (pretty ineffectively) also sold in brico sheds everywhere pretty cheaply as an antimouss.
