Spanish triangle

Will this become law in France in rhe future?
Looks like we need to buy one for our next camping car trip to Spain.

More research confirms that the new law will apply from 2026 for all vehicles including camping cars so plenty of time yet.
Did you know that it is currently obligatory to carry 2 warning triangles when driving in Spain.

I should get a couple of blue ones as well - you get through traffic much quicker.

ETA: I wonder if breakdown triangles are compulsory in Bermuda?

The Spanish minister for transport must have a relation that manufactures them. Still, I’d say there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell of your average Spanish motorist paying any attention. The tourists will probably comply though. :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

That won’t be at all confusing to folks from countries where rotating amber beacon means roadworks vehicle, bin lorry or tractor.

Exactly my thought.

Nope
it’s pretty well understood that any such “flashing light” is there to make drivers aware there is “something to be careful of”

Leads me onto a question: is there a law that restricts camping cars to 70kph, or are they mechanically governed thus?

If under 3500kg same speed limit as a car.

It’s necessary to carry three triangles when towing in France

One at each end of a detached trailer and a third for the now solo car.

I was being extremely sarcastic but forgot the emoji

We are in Spain at the moment and I expect they will become advisory rather than mandatory just like the speed limits are for the locals!

Had a glance at V-16s this morning and noticed that prices vary enormously, but the cheaper ones don’t appear to have the automatic GPS function.

nearly lost out on a canadian driving test question

Blue flashing light? What vehicle is using a blue flashing light?

Right - in Canada its a snowplough and you better get out of the way!

I’ve carried one for many years in my camper, far more effective than a warning triangle or just using your hazard warning lights. Common sense really.

sorry I don’t know how to share/link another thread to this, so here goes

Sorry Stella, I thought this thread was about a remake of a 1980’ s. Tv show about a ferry to Gothenburg.

I first thought it was about some Spanish drug cartel :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I think it’s a good idea, bit more obvious than the flimsy warning triangles.

Maybe but my thought was there are already hazzard lights via 4 way indicators as well.
