The weather!

And darkroom developer temp?

Quite possibly. We were on the south-facing side of the valley. The sun shone every day. The snow was getting pretty wet. I was very lucky to survive being set off down the mountain on a raft of snow the size of a tennis court that suddenly broke away, with me in the middle of it.

We’re waiting…

No. I really mean that.

Come on be a sport!

20C worked perfectly. In fact it’s so close to the recommended 68F as to make no diff.

I did take my first dev thermometer, in F, to Pakistan. On my first evening I was appalled to see that the mercury was as far above the max of 90F as the gap from 80F to 90F.

My house mate said it woud soon be hotter - and it was.

I’m going North up the A75 to Millau tomorrow. Does anyone know if I’m likely to encounter any snow?? Or does anyone know of a site where I can find out? Snow chains onboard now but hope I don’t need to use them :crossed_fingers:

Did you ever find your baby?

Gotta ticket.
Long as her right arm…

The situation seems to have eased and going off the press the autoroute should be OK now. I think that’s the only part of the Aveyron where the snow chain law applies.

That’s great news and thanks alot for the response. I looked at the forecast and looks like sun up there tomorrow, but negative figures in the morning. I also found a webcam for Millau bridge so hope that also helps tomorrow when I can see the area in the light :+1::+1::+1:

Whatever it turned out to be in C, it was pretty warm for January and nice to be able to sit outside with a cup of tea for a change and the tramontine was nowhere to be found either which does make it cold. There is a fair bit of snow on the Canigou as I noticed on way to the shops and looks so pretty against all the palm trees and blue skies.

Guess what?

neighbours are just as bad… every time they reckon to be gone by 5pm "at the latest "… and every visit they over-run… sometimes by several hours… then have to rush to their Paris hotel, ready to return their leased-car and catch the next-morning flight …
once they just blanked the overnight hotel booking and went straight to the airport in the early hours… wasting that money should have taught them something, but…

You missed the boat?

Freezing here, proper hard frost, very pretty. Watching small play tennis for an hour not so fun! For once we are having a hot lunch, jacket potatoes yum!

Freezing fog on the A84? There certainly was (and still is) just south of Vire this morning .

brrr… you’re braver than I am…  not setting foot outdoors today, it’s icy everywhere and if I slip and fall… the outcome will not be good

Back from Millau and thankfully the A75 was clear, but a good amount of snow around, and bit nippy

with a sky like that, Millau must have been glorious
