Anybody else watch the Top 14 final tonight between Stade Toulouse and UBB? It’ll go down in history as one of the finest examples of a team absolutely humiliating the opposition.
For those who missed it, the final score was 59 - 3 to Toulouse. They scored 9 tries in total…! It was a masterclass from start to finish.
UBB really aren’t a bad team, but they were absolutely humiliated tonight. And I say that as a UBB fan

Didn’t see it as on holiday, but I did watch Harlequins get well beaten by Toulouse in the Champions Cup semis a few weeks ago. They are a very, very good team.
It was a superb match by Toulouse. Poor UBB just couldn’t keep up with Toulouse playing at their very best.
I met several of the Toulouse team by chance in May (I think !). There’s a New Zealand Samoan guy who runs a very good food truck in Carcassonne and it seems he knows several of the team and they came one day with all thier family to see him and have food.
