Watched George Orwell’s 1984 Big Brother 1956 film version today on YouTube and found it disturbing. Early in the film was the remark ‘nobody keeps a diary today because to do so would be punishable by death’, and heavily implied in the book. ‘Hate week’ was also mentioned in the book and film.
Trump has banned government communication of and about bird flu (a diary), and I feel that his first week in office has been his personal hate week and that he will only be happy when he is sure everyone thinks the way he does.

The geopolitical world is looking more and more like Oceania, Eastasia, and Eurasia these days. 
Well at least we can turn the tele off now. They’ve got smartphones, credit cards & banking app, pc’s & plenty of connected divises watching and listening 24/7. It’s just a question of how many big bothers are watching at any given time and on what servers.
