Hertz for self drive i f you have one with vans near you. They know how to do the paperwork you’ll need - I think it’s called a V75 and their charges for it likely to be reasonble
Specify a non branded van though - nothing says stuff to nick in this van liike a hire company’s branding all over it.

It’s been a while since I hired a van to bring stuff over but Europcar were the cheapest when we bought the house.

May well get searched at border in a van.
In case useful for anyone else in the future - we hired a van from Europcar - super van with only 2000 miles on the clock when we got it. 1500 miles includes then 20p per extra. We stacked it to the max, cruised through border control with no questions asked. We had prepped all the customs paperwork and had an inventory just in case but not needed. Proved so useful as we did an Ikea run too and filled it up again whilst we were there.
